Ukraine: CIA Director Traveled To Kiev
Stratfor 14-Apr-14
CIA Director John Brennan visited Kiev on the weekend of April 12-13 as part of a trip to Europe, according to a White House spokesman, Russia Today reported April 14. During the trip, Brennan met with top Ukrainian officials. Ousted Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich had accused Brennan of ordering the crackdown on pro-Russian protesters in eastern Ukraine, which the CIA has denied. Russia believes that Western intelligence agencies covertly sponsored the protests that led to Yanukovich's ouster.
