Understanding and believing the gospel is an essential requirement of salvation

Like it or not having a true understanding of the “good news” or “gospel message” of the Bible is a requirement for salvation. Therefore it is essential to anyone seeking salvation to get to grips with the Bible and it’s message. It is essential to ensure that you, yourself are convinced as to the true teaching of the Bible’s message and not to rely on a vicar, pastor, pope or parent to have made doctrinal decisions for you. Have a think about these questions and consider if you know the Biblical Truth of their answers:

• Do you have an immortal soul?
• Is God a Trinity?
• When do faithful believers receive eternal life?
• What is God’s Kingdom?
• What is the nature of man?
• What is the punishment of sin?
